Hearing loss tinnitus and stress is a total emotional spiral bowl of depression and anxiety. When the hair follicles in your ears are damaged, they move erratically and are in a constant state of irritation. This can be caused by any loud sound like an explosion or heavy power tools. The erratically moving damaged follicles send an electrical signal to the brain. The brain takes that signal and creates the ringing ears that you hear or buzzing sound. That’s why they say that the sound in your ears is perceptual, and does not exist externally, also known as phantom noise. People who suffer from severe hearing loss tinnitus and depression can turn to support organizations such as the American Tinnitus Association or the American Tinnitus Foundation. There is also a tinnitus discussion list where many people that suffer from the condition share their experiences and what they have used to alleviate the symptoms. Again there are no cures for hearing loss tinnitus and ringing ears, but there are tons of support groups out there ready to give you support and help you find what helps. Part of the participation in the support group is to also raise awareness to the people that are not aware how devastating this condition can be for millions.
