American Tinnitus Association is a non-profit organization working hard to find a cure for tinnitus. They fund scientist to work hard to discover the sources of tinnitus and to help patients cope and manage this devastating condition. The American Tinnitus Association has been around for almost 28 years to help find a cure for tinnitus and to develop resources that improve tinnitus research and the quality of life for many Americans each year.  

The American Tinnitus Association is constantly taking action to increase awareness of this devastating condition. One of the mayor battlegrounds for the ATA is with Congress and other officials who make funding decisions that directly affect tinnitus research in America. The American Tinnitus Association is committed to educating and influencing inside Washington D.C. to take part in the alliance to finding a cure for tinnitus.  

The American Tinnitus Association wants to influence congress especially in this time of war. Many veterans and returning soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan will suffer from tinnitus for the rest of their lives. New statistics shines a spotlight on the constant alarming rate of military personnel who now suffer from tinnitus.  These soldiers that are exposed to constant explosion and gunfire causing many to lose their hearing forever, and others will have a buzzing sound in the ear the rest of their lives.  The American Tinnitus Association has made incredible improvements and has help millions of these war heroes cope and manage this uncomfortable condition.
